Moon during the day against blue sky
Waxing crescent during the day. You must have noticed, that the Moon sometimes is visible during the day - and this is picture showing that phenomenon. Moreover, although part of moon is lit, you can entire Moon surface, gently standing out against the sky. This is called "grey light" (planetshine), glow visible on the currently not illuminated part of the Moon - visible thanks to light reflected from the Earth. On thic picture grey light is generated digitally, instead of making HDR composition.
